About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of CrossDesk, its website, documentation, updates, public beta software, and beta support. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using CrossDesk, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use CrossDesk.

Public beta and licence

CrossDesk is currently offered as a free public beta. We may change, suspend, or end the beta at any time. Subject to these terms, CrossDesk gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software on supported Macs that you own, control, or are authorized to use, for personal or internal business use.

CrossDesk is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or make CrossDesk available to others except as these terms or applicable law allow.

Responsible use

Use CrossDesk only in a lawful, authorized, and non-malicious way with Macs, Bluetooth devices, accounts, networks, and information that you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for keeping your Macs and accounts secure.

Do not bypass or interfere with security features, licence controls, or technical restrictions. Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive source code from CrossDesk except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

Bluetooth transfers and recovery

CrossDesk transfers supported Bluetooth devices between Macs. Transfers can fail, interrupt input, or require you to manually re-pair a device. Keep another way to control each Mac available, and follow the recovery guidance on our Support page if you need help. Do not use CrossDesk where an interrupted device connection could create a safety-critical risk or cause harm.

Availability and liability

CrossDesk is provided “as is” and “as available” during the beta. We do not promise that it will work with every Mac, Bluetooth device, configuration, or version of macOS, or that it will always be available, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrossDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that the law cannot exclude.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as CrossDesk changes. The latest version will be posted here with a new last-updated date. You may stop using the beta at any time by uninstalling CrossDesk.
